A musical journey in which Italian songs meet the sounds of Brazil, jazz standards, and the Neapolitan tradition. The Emanuele Marsico Quintet explores a rich and wide-ranging repertoire, performed with sensitivity and a spirit of discovery, seeking to create a musical dialogue based on listening and mutual understanding. Enhancing this encounter is the trumpet of Fabrizio Bosso, whose unmistakable voice will add new depth and shades to the music. A multiple winner of the Best Trumpeter award at the JazzIt Awards, Bosso is now one of the most authoritative and recognizable figures in contemporary Italian jazz. His artistic identity combines rigor, tradition, expressive freedom, and experimentation, making the trumpet an instrument of dialogue between different musical worlds.

**Great Italian song meets swing**

Two strong personalities from the Italian music scene come together in an original project. On one side is Bobo Rondelli, a singer-songwriter, actor, poet, and performer known for his powerful voice and disenchanted songwriting. On the other is Nico Gori, one of the most highly regarded clarinetists and saxophonists in Italian jazz, leading his Swing 10Tet. The project revisits some of the great Italian songs of the 1950s and 1960s, drawing on repertoires associated with Fred Buscaglione, Fred Bongusto, Sergio Endrigo, Mina, and Umberto Bindi. The repertoire also includes original songs by Bobo Rondelli, specially arranged for the project.

Kolosso was founded in 2023 under the leadership of multi-instrumentalist and producer Davide “Kidd” Angelica. The project brings together some of the most visionary musicians from Bologna’s underground scene and places 808, trap, drill, and bastard jazz in dialogue with one another. Kolosso’s music portrays the chaos of contemporary life through urban sounds and jazz idioms, creating powerful live performances and layered productions. The album *Over*, released by Sghetto Records in October 2025, contains ten tracks and features Lauryyn, Awon, DJ Craim, and Pasquale Mirra.

Umoja: Unity as a Musical Language

“Umoja” means unity in the ancient Swahili language of East Africa. The project draws inspiration from the recording sessions for the album released by the British label Far Out and subsequently reissued in a revised version by African American producer Joaquyin Claussell. Umoja’s music looks toward an idea of society founded on equality, freedom, and progress, evoking ancient dances and rituals through a contemporary language. Its sound draws on the spiritual and free jazz of the 1970s, soul, African and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and the legacy of figures such as Lonnie Liston Smith, Gary Bartz, Fela Kuti, and Tony Allen. This concert is conceived as the ideal conclusion to a festival that has made cross-pollination and encounter its defining features.
